2017 Emmys Music Preview
Well, folks! It's that time of year again. Yes, you guessed it - EMMY season! Since 1948, The EMMY Awards have honored a dynamic range of artists and creatives in the television realm. Winners are chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
This year for the first time ever, the EMMYs have unveiled a Music Supervision category. This is a tremendous achievement and a long overdue step in the right direction. It is a beautiful thing to see this important profession receive more recognition from the industry and the general public. We are absolutely thrilled to witness this and hope this inspires more people to follow their dreams!
Eager to immerse ourselves in the music of this year's nominees, we created a concise wrap up of all of the highlights from the categories we feel most excited about.
The 69th Emmy Awards will be hosted by the incomparable Stephen Colbert. Don't forget to tune in to CBS on Sunday, September 17th at 5 pm PST | 8 pm EST.
